Known for producing high-end MP3 players, Apple has taken the original formula that put them on the map and refined it for the Apple iPod Classic 160gb. The Classic packs a punch in features and keeps you rocking. We reviewed a similar iPod Classic, the 80gb model. Judging from the specs, they're the same except for the difference in storage. We've included a brief summary of some of the features on the 160gb, but for a full review of the iPod Classic, check out the iPod Classic 80gb.
The battery life on the iPod classis is nothing to cry about, with a 30 hours of battery life, you’ll be set.
The iPod Classic also supports several different video formats. Apple has updated some key features of the Classic to make it a stellar video player. With increased screen resolution, the iPod, while without the large screen of the Zune or Archos lines, is still good for watching video files or to view still images.
Part of the updates Apple has included is a split screen menu. While you are looking for a specific song you can have half the screen show the song titles and the other half of the screen will slow pan over images of album covers.
