In the long, rumor-filled run up to the announcement of the Zune HD we’ve seen plenty of images and spec lists, but one feature in particular has remained in the hazy cloud of the unknown: Will the Zune HD support apps from the Windows Marketplace. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but a recent video leak gives us the best clue yet of what’s coming.

The video below comes from the Zune HD preview hosted by a few Best Buy stores. It clearly shows a menu option (currently locked) to browse apps. Matthew Arkin, the man behind the camera also claims that a Microsoft rep confirmed there is an SDK for the Zune HD, although we’re not so sure that’s confirmed in the video.
