If you’re looking for a tiny MP3 player at similarly tiny price, the Electro Brand MP3774 could be just the device you’re looking for. The manufacturer’s specifications state that the device measures 4” x 3-3/4” x 1-1/8” but it, in fact, much smaller than that. It can store 1GB of music, or about 250 of your favorite tunes. It is compatible with MP3, WMA, and WAV audio file formats and operates on a single AAA size battery so the whole thing isn’t much bigger that the battery alone. You can also use this device as a voice recorder for making quick notes to yourself.

Music can be downloaded to the MP3774 through the included USB cable. Also included with the unit are stereo earbuds and a software CD needed to sync the device to download songs from your computer. It is compatible with Windows 98, 2000 and XP.

The ID3 tag display shows the artists name as well as the song and album title. A graphic equalizer is built in with six presets and bass boost. Music that isn’t DRM protected can be loaded onto the MP3774 as can DRM protected cuts for which you have the license.
