I purchased the i7 about a month ago and am thrilled with the purchase. I almost picked up another iPod, but after significant review decided to jump on the Cowon instead. It's not gorgeous, doesn't have a crazy cool interface, and I can'
I like it 16GB, small, esay to carry around in my pocket when not in use.
The iaudio is a very unique device in that it does not require software in order for you to use it. It does come with software if you so choose to use it, however it is not necessary. All you have to do it plug it in, drag whatever video, music or misc fi
I haven't had any issues with my Cowon iAudio 7 16gb. The interface takes a couple of minutes to get used to but overall it works well. The player has a solid durable feel. One feature that it has that I have not had to use is a reset button which, h
I recently bought the cowon 5 and was disappointed by the cumbersome 'subpack' and the bulky style. although I loved the sound quality and the sturdy make. In my new iaudio 7, which was a reward to myself, I got all I wished for: a small, very h
The iAudio7 continues to be one of the best players in the market. I bought this item last year and I definitely continue getting my money's worth! All of the features are great, many of these you will never find in iPods. The iAudio7 player is no
This is a remarkably clean sounding player. If you have good quality headphones this player will bring out the best in them. Battery life is one of the longest available. The fact that it allows you to play lossless recording (flac) is a great feature.
I enjoy the iAudio very much. The sound quality with a good set of headphones is excellent. I like the feature where you can record with line in. The only item I wish it would include is being Audible capable so I can listen to audible books.
Purchased this mp3 player about 5 months ago, have had absolutely no problems what so ever. Great sound, excellent battery life. The player itself is very small so its great for use at the gym.
Just about everything in the specs are pros. It plays a large array of file types, has linux compatibility, sounds great, awesome battery life, is small but not too small and the package was easy to open (not in that hard, sealed plastic). I couldn'
This player is awesome. After reading other reviews I was worried about the "strange" controls. The controls are different and take a little while to get used to, but work great once you make the adjustment. I did upgrade the firmware before
I love this product it is so easy to use. There is not special software you just manage it with your windows media player and drag and drop music, videos or pictures on to it. The sound quality is excellent. The menu takes a little bit to get used to b
Excellent choice when moving from an HD based player. I went from an HD based Cowon product that worked excellently, but it's size and battery life became problematic. Going from 30gb to 16gb was not a big problem. I just load it with things I actual
I have used several iAudio products in the past and I believe they are superior to most other MP3 players on the market. The I7 feels especially solidly built. I have to agree with the previous reviewer that the interface may not be as intuitive as e.g. t
You can not do any better in terms of sound (Thats why we buy these things, right!) The ease of use can not be touched by anything else and of course it is drag-and-drop so you do not depend on i-tunes, Windows Media Player etc.. I also want to mention th

I'm in love with this little device. I wish it had more than 16GB of memory, but for a flash player it's about the best you can get right now, and your really can't beat its price for it either. A 16GB flash based iPod or any of the other m
I ALMOST found the perfect mp3 player for me. I listen to audiobooks and sometimes music, I have pictures, a few movies, and some txt files, too. I have my books and music organized into folders and this is just like a jump drive. I can plug it into AN
I was lucky to chance on someones review on this, and caustiously ordered it to replace my cramped but venerable iFP-iriver 790. Stuff I look for and loved in this player: 1. Excellent sound quality a little better than my old river. 2. Auto-off timer dur
If you're looking for an mp3 player that combines good looks with GREAT sound, fantastic battery life (the battery STILL has yet to lose one bar after several WEEKS of use), good picture quality, and ease of use, then this is your mp3 player. I like
The battery life is simply amazing. I have charged it once, when I first put music on it. It has been 26 days since and it's still running after daily use. All you need for this player to work on any computer is a USB cord. There is no software requi
The player is simply amazing. About 60 HOURS OF BATTERY LIFE. Can't beat that. I've had this player for a few months already and I only recharged it fully only twice. And the player does not use battery when it's off. Another good aspect ab
I bought this as a replacement for my iriver T60, having found the 4gb size to be a bit restrictive. This player was advertised as being a worthy opponent to ipod, and it turned out to be the case. The format of the controls takes a bit of getting used to
Exactly what I was looking for. First, I am not an audiophile, but I love the sound that I get from the iAudio7 whether I'm listening on the cheap set of Sony earbuds, or plugged into the auxiliary jack in my Prius. Most all of the digital audio form
I just placed an order for my second Cowon I7; my original beloved one lost a fight with a car door earlier this week. About 14 mo ago when my Zen 5 started acting up I went searching for a better quality music player. After checking out various sites, a
Very small and fun to use once you know how to operate the different buttons. Great sound, file system is a little funky. don't buy for video but for music and audio books it is great.
I've really enjoyed this player, great sounding (using shure in ear buds), very portable, mac compatible, etc. However, as of lately, the player has been acting erratically, the buttons suddenly becomes unresponsive, the player starts to go nutz and
With the Bose ear-bud phones, this tiny little unit puts out a very respectable sound. It's very light, and since I only use this for music, the storage is huge. I actually like recharging this over the USB versus my old Cowon which took 1 AA battery
A great mp3 that beats ipod in some aspects. I will be comparing this mp3 with ipods. I love this mp3. The design was sleek and the memory capacity is great. The battery life is simply excellent, unlike my previous mp3(an ipod). There are so many option i
Very happy with the interface. Some may find it hard to get used to because the controls are very sensitive but I like the quick response. Audio quality is excellent. The one problem with the iAudio is the total lack of playlists. Very, very hard to work
This definitely isn't true audiophile quality, it probably is thought to be for various reasons. I think most people refer to the sound as being audiophile-like, because everything out there for a portable flash/hd based player sounds like a$$ "
Anybody who reads my reviews or visits my websites knows that I am partial to the Cowon iAudio products. I've owned at least a dozen, including the 4 GB and 8 GB versions of this unit. The sound quality of the iAudio 7 may not be "true audioph
The Good -------------- 1) Linux Friendly - Works like a regular USB device, no need for any software. 2) Plays Ogg and flac files. 3) Good sound quality. 4) You can create your own play list by creating sub directories. 5) Size but see below. 6) Lo
I bought this because it is one of the few audio players made in Korea (as opposed to China). I suppose I would have preferred one made in the US, or in Taiwan... but that's neither here nor there. Everything you've heard about the counter-intu
Like Stephen Hawking, this player is brilliant but trapped in an uncooperative body. The ONLY reason to buy this player is for the unreal battery life. If you're someone that needs to be untethered as much as possible, this is the player to have. Sh
Pros: The sound on this is amazing. I am a DJ and profesional electronic musician so I am sensitive to this. My sister's Ipod Nano gets low-end distortion when you use the EQ (wtf is that?). But this unit sounds brilliant. It has a whole host of
I love iAudio products. I currently have the iAudio X5L and was wanting to buy another one but can't find one. They've been out of stock for so long. So I decided to purchase the I7. It's a great product, however, I can't stand the tou
I purchased this MP3 player because of the positive reviews on sound quality. Pros: High storage, multipurpose device; compact size; and better than average sound quality. Cons: Difficult to navigate due to small screen and ultra-sensitive controls. I wou
This device is good in all the way people claim it is. It's small, has a lot of storage, has an amazing battery life, supports a huge variety of file types (including OGG and FLAC), and the sound quality is fine. But it doesn't support playlists
Good... BUT a couple of glaring issues need fixing. I got this a week ago to replace my large and cumbersome Zen touch 20GB. Unfortunately, the hype has not lived up to billing. I am not in any means trashing this little guy, it is a good player and the s
I bought this player almost exclusively for listening to audio books in my car or training audio during workouts. The biggest benefit for me was the ability to create multiple bookmarks in different audio tracks. The player also looks cool and very smal

I'll save the `OK product' part as enough has been covered by other reviewers. So the screen of my i7 stopped working after 7 months of light use (how light? let's say 2 hours per day during the first month and 2h/week thereafter), and the
This was a cool little player. The only problem was I had problems with the music that I transfered over to it. It especially had issues with ones that I had bought online, that had the digital rights. It wouldn't play them, when I tried, it would
I bought this product based on all the rave reviews about the sound quality all over the web (since you can't just go down to your local Best Buy and listen to one - they're only available over the internet, and I think in brick-and-mortar store
Recently I was in the market for a new mp3 player as my second generation 10gb iPod was showing its age. After an exhaustive search I narrowed it down to another iPod, particularly the 8gb nano and the I Audio I7 16gb player. After reading several revie
There are issues with this machine beyond that fact that it crapped out at 6 months. SIX MONTHS. You get favorable reviews because people write them within a few days of receiving the product, i.e. the honeymoon period. Some people have a dreadful expe
I have been thoroughly disappointed with their products and lack of customer service. They average about 2-3 weeks to return an email for customer service issues. I finally got through to a representative and was advised to send the product back to them,
I am disappointed. This device has awfully slow usb data transfer. When I upload files into it I have only 600Kb/sec - 1.1Mb/sec, 800Kb/sec in avg. When I download files from the device it gives ~1.5-1.7Mb/sec. So what is said in tech specs - "File T
